Performance Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for driving sales outcomes and conversion objectives through delivery of the company Digital Marketing Plan. This will be achieved through building and leveraging digital marketing assets, lead generation, customer engagement and the overall development of the company’s digital footprint.

Role Purpose

•  Support the execution of the marketing plan via digital levers in alignment with market targets, brand guidelines and budget limitations.

•  Manage digital marketing budget in conjunction with Marketing Director and ensure optimised spend and ROI targets are maintained.

•  Identify, test and optimise new digital channels to market to increase sales and decrease customer acquisition costs.

•  Scale high performing channels to extract maximal sales in an efficient manner.

    Core Responsibilities

    •  Design and oversee all aspects of the Digital Marketing Strategy with the Marketing Director.

    •  Collaborate cross-functionally to develop a consistent online customer experience and identify new opportunities to increase conversion and cultivate improved relationships with our audiences.

    •  Identify and develop opportunities to drive traffic, increase reach, acquire new customers, and increase sales.

    •  Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create, update, and maintain various digital properties such as websites, landing pages, and microsites in support of digital marketing campaigns including email, CPC / CPA programs, paid search, SEO, display, and mobile.

    •  Manage day-to-day operations of paid media (PPC), Search and paid social platforms. Interpreting, understanding and acting on performance metrics to optimise further executions.

    •  Solid knowledge of google analytics/Adwords and setting up optimal google adword campaigns.

    •  Analyse data to track conversions, streamline funnels, and optimise digital campaigns.

    •  Ensure marketing activity is accurately reported at the end of each month/campaign period for analysis and to inform future strategies.

    •  Manage the day-to-day digital and social media assets for Espresso.

    •  Develop and implement a forecasting and reporting mechanism and suite of metrics that captures key KPIs and visibly demonstrates performance against targets.

    •  Apply a test, learn, innovate approach to recommending the best digital/social channels to deliver successful campaign outcomes.

    •  Manage the digital marketing budget whilst providing reporting and communication of digital results and scorecards on all campaigns and activity.

    •  Manage attribution for each channel and ability to optimise for each platforms objectives.

    •  Keep across key industry trends in digital Marketing to ensure Espresso upholds its sector leadership.
      Required Experience and Expertise

      •  Demonstrated ability to deliver effective paid media campaigns across search and display that drive customer acquisition, engagement and sales seamlessly across marketing.

      •  A strategic thinker with solid commercial acumen who Provides thought leadership and perspective and has an elevated level of attention to detail.

      •  It goes without saying, given your optimisation mindset, you will be experienced with Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag.

      •  Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo platforms a bonus.

      •  Outstanding Project Management skills supported by excellent verbal and written communications skills.

      •  Technical aptitude and ability to take complex information and communicate in simple language.

      •  Have worked in an autonomous environment with a proven track record of success as part of a marketing team with demonstrated organisational and task-delivery skills.

      •  Experience with social media scheduling and media buying.

      •  Extensive knowledge of paid and organic social media.

      •  Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

      •  Proven experience in managing digital campaigns to deliver organisation outcomes and goals.

      •  Test and learn mindset to drive campaign optimisation and maximise results
      Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.

      •  Experience and Engagement in Affiliate marketing synergies with market leaders desirable.

      •  Experience in developing robust digital attribution, tagging conventions, tracking and reporting.

      •  Google Analytics (GA4) experience preferred.

      •  Ability to work as part of a team (mentor role) and independently.

      •  Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
